For Users of Windows 10 Operating System:

  • Close the QuickBooks application and open your Internet Explorer browser.
  • Click on the ‘Tools’ menu and go to the ‘Advanced tab.
  • Scroll down and reach the ‘Security’ section and ensure that TLS 1.2 is enabled.
  • Mark it otherwise and then hit the ‘Apply’ button.
  • Press ‘Ok’ and close the browser window.
  • Open QuickBooks to see if the error is resolved.

For Windows 7/ 8 /8.1 users

  • Open your Web browser Internet Explorer after closing the QuickBooks window.
  • Click on the ‘Tools’ drop-down menu.
  • Select ‘Internet options’ and go to the ‘Advanced’ section.
  • Scroll down the options and mark TLS 1.2.
  • Press the ‘Apply’ button and then hit ‘Ok’ for the changes to take effect.
  • Exit the browser and check if the error is resolved.

Deleting the browser’s history and cache memory

  1. Open the Internet Explorer on your computer.
