In contrast to the other officers in the Royal Canadian air force, Stéphane St-Onge is not only a commander, but also an historian of great importance. Stéphane St-Onge was born in Montreal in 1943. He is considered a fighter pilot in the Royal Canadian air force. He was educated at the McGill University, Montreal, Quebec. Stéphane St-Onge joined the Canadian Forces on January 19, 1968, and was assigned as a fighter pilot with the 438 Tactical Helicopter Squadron. During his career in the Royal Canadian air force, he has achieved a number of achievements.

During his time as a Royal Canadian Air Force pilot, Lieutenant-Colonel Stephane Saint-Onge served with 438 Squadron from 2001 to 2003. He is the current commander of 438 Tactical Helicopter Squadron “Ville de Montréal”. He served as acting commander of the squadron for two years under the leadership of Colonel Martin Houle who served as the commander from July 7, 2020 to June 19,

Stéphane St-Onge is the first Canadian Commander-in-Chief of the 438th Regiment. The Royal Canadian Air Force is going to reduce the conventional band music performance to just 5 musicians.

Badges As Honor:

As Lcol St-Onge was acting Commander of 438 Squadron during the month of May 2019, the Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force visited them at Hangar Molson. He presented his team with sixteen “wing” badges to underline the demanding qualifications of this team which excelled in an essentially dangerous field and finally he won the Specialized door gunner badge.

The Deeds:

As commander in chief, Stéphane Saint-Onge has acquired valuable experiences. Among them is the experience of writing an essay about fatigue in Canadian military aviation. While still a Major in the Royal Canadian Air Force he published that essay. It’s a great piece of work and provides important insights into the topic.

This book discusses the risks of fatigue in military aviation operations, and the tactical advantages fatigue provides to the enemy. It also examines the reasons for these problems, and gives guidelines to the next generation of military leaders on how to avoid them. The essay is about the significance and sacrifice of one of the heroes of American history. It bears his signature as a true American.

Stéphane Saint-Onge is a fighter pilot and an expert in air combat. As such, he has many important anecdotes about his career and the risks he has taken. He is passionate about history and his favorite subjects are the history of aviation and World War II. He is a person who is very well informed about what he is talking about. He has a good sense of humor, a pleasant personality and a warm smile. These are all positive aspects of his character.

However, he can be extremely tough and uncompromising when it comes to his work. If you ever have any discussion or argument with Stéphane St-Onge, you should stop right there! Arguing with him will be like fighting against a force of nature. You will lose. Simply give up and go do something else. He is a born leader and people naturally respond to him.
