Where is Lincoln Street?

Lincoln Road is north of Ocean Drive between 17th street to the north and 16th street to the south, bordered by Washington Street to the east and Alton Street to the west. The entire area is closed to traffic and was one of Florida’s first pedestrian zones thanks to its architect Morris Lapidus’s idea in the 1959s. Most of the stores open daily from 10 AM to 11 PM.

Shopping and Dining in the Lincoln Road Mall

The main activity of Lincoln Road is unbridled shopping. There are plenty of shops along the way, from low-budget brands like H&M and Zara to stores like Guess, Desigual, Diesel, Victoria’s Secret, Pandora, Armani Jeans, Lacoste, and many more.

Even gourmets will be disappointed, from Doraku Sushi to Eat Greek Souvlaki, from La Provence South Beach to CVI.CHE 105 and places whose names evoke Italy, Aroma Espresso Bar, Cantinetta, Dolce Italian, Groovy’s Pizza, and a lot many options to choose from!

Another historic Miami Beach Theater after the Lincoln Theater is the Colony Theater. It is located at 1040 Lincoln Road and can accommodate 415 people. Lincoln Theater

At 541 Lincoln Road is the Lincoln Theater. Today it houses a shop, but in the past, it was a cinema and the headquarters of the New World Symphony before moving to the larger New World Center. The Art Deco-style Lincoln Theater opened in 1936 as a cinema. In the 1980s, it was closed and, after a few years, the New World Symphony invested several million dollars in renovating it and transforming it into its home. In 2010 Clifford Stein bought the building, and for several years now, this beautiful historic building has housed a shop.
